Notes on big canvases: GRAPHICS:
These pieces of work have in common the "graphics" as main
motif. That is, small lines (10 x 10 cms.) made by sketching
and intuition (like anyone drawing lines while talking by telephone).
Then, these sketches were scanned, refined through the computer
to end up being obvious centers of bigger scale abstracts compositions
(1 x 1 m). TRILOGY: Geometrical/Abstract Composition. I always
have been interested in the search of geometrical development
of organic forms applying the Golden Proportion.
Notes on the drawings: 5 and
6: These compositions show the development of continuity and
organic in the drawing, without a plan or a preestablished
image. The resulting contents are somehow related to my present
interests. 7 to 11: These are abstract compositions wherein
I tried to harmonically capture in just one piece of work different
viewpoints about proportions, emotions, and movement. Each
work has a geometrical component in both the format (golden
rectangles and root rectangles) and the composition structures.
Some others have simpler compositions (Umbral Gráfico) |
